FRESTO

CAFE CONCEPT: 6 gas stations FULL RENOVATION

: This project had a target to change the service level and interior atmosphere in six ABC gas stations in Helsinki. The concept is crystallized in a recognizable space look that combines clear graphics, subdued colour surfaces and materials that bring atmosphere to the space. The café is designed as an attractive, approachable and comfortable space that differs from regular service station cafes and can be use as an alternative to city cafés.

: The concept is created as a compact combination of Fresto kitchen, Fresto café and Fresto shop. All fixed furniture is designed as modular furniture product family with concept elements that can be easily duplicated and scaled to different spaces. Especially attention is paid to the products’ display and their logical positioning with the idea for a smooth service path. An important part of the project has been the cost efficiency.
