Office space: 900m2 FULL RENOVATION
: The assignment was to design UPM's Tampere office, which were transformed from a box office into a multi-facility space for 70 people. The space was opened by demolishing the walls and replacing the existing plaster walls with glass walls. The work culture change was preceded by a large-scale work environment survey, the results of which serve as basis for spatial planning.
: The space was divided into various work sectors, of which only a part serves as fixed workstations for named individuals. The large entrance area is created as a multi-functional space which is used for different kinds of activities. The overall implementation was carried out with a low budget and with little structural change.
