Office space Tampere - 900m2
: The assignment was to design UPM's Tampere office, transforming it from a traditional box office into a versatile, multi-functional space for 70 employees. The redesign began by opening the space, achieved by demolishing walls and replacing the existing plaster walls with glass partitions. The transformation was informed by a comprehensive work environment survey, which guided the spatial planning process.
: The office was divided into distinct work zones, with only a portion allocated as fixed workstations for specific individuals. A standout feature is the large entrance area, designed as a multi-functional space to accommodate a variety of activities, enhancing flexibility and collaboration. The overall project was executed within a modest budget and required minimal structural changes, demonstrating both creativity and cost-efficiency.
